**Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)**
- Plan and execute testing of multi-domain Unmanned Systems (UxS) in lab, controlled, and field environments to evaluate performance against requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to assess system reliability, interoperability, safety, and effectiveness.
- Prepare clear, concise test plans, reports, data summaries, and after-action reviews documenting findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, integration, and program teams to identify issues, troubleshoot anomalies, and implement corrective actions.
- Support UxS fielding events, exercises, demonstrations, and customer evaluations, including setup, execution, and teardown at test ranges and forward locations.
- Serve as alternate pilot/operator for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) during testing activities.
- Track test outcomes, risks, and deficiencies to support program decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and mission-driven test schedules.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level II Flight Physical for UAS operations (as alternate pilot)
- Associates degree required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field highly preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Hands-on experience testing systems or equipment (UxS / drone testing experience strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues while clearly explaining system functionality
- Flexible schedule to support varying test timelines and urgent mission-driven requirements
- Comfort working in technical environments and eagerness to engage with complex unmanned systems
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team
- Familiarity with government test standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Initiative, ownership of tasks, and comfort operating in ambiguous or fast-paced settings
- Positive attitude toward safety, following protocols, and continuous learning
