Sr. Lead Software Engineer

**The Opportunity**

NexTech Solutions (NTS) is actively seeking a Senior Lead Full Stack Software Engineer. At NTS,you'll join a dynamic team of creators, disruptors, and problem-solvers working to deliver real solutions that meet real customer needs. We're looking for Full Stack Software Engineers who are excited to combine data with cutting-edge technologies.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading NTS's ongoing technology transformation.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Lead a portfolio of diverse tech initiatives and guide a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to deliver solutions that support the company's regulatory requirements.
• Bring your enthusiasm for emerging technologies by staying current with trends, exploring and learning new tools, engaging in tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally contributing hands-on with coding or code reviews.
• Work closely with digital product managers to build and deliver robust, cloud-native solutions that power meaningful experiences for millions of Americans on their path to financial empowerment.
• Leverage a wide range of technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various NTS services.
  
  

Candidate must have an active Secret or Higher Security clearance. Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization in the U.S., as sponsorship is not available at this time.

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships)
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• 9 years of experience with one or more programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
• 4 years of experience working with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or similar
• 4 years of experience using open-source frameworks
• 1 year of experience leading or managing teams
• 2 years of working within Agile development environments
