Test Technician

Become a Key Player as a Test Technician

You will help ensure quality and on-time delivery by accurately testing fan and pump assemblies, supporting manufacturing operations and test-stand readiness. You will work onsite with the production and engineering teams, operating and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical test systems to validate product performance.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

• Perform moderate to complex test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and fixtures
• Set up test equipment for a variety of products and measure/record valve or system conformance to test specifications
• Install plumbing for hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and nitrogen tests per product ATP specifications
• Work with 120–480V, 3-phase, 400Hz electrical test setups and verify accuracy of test stands prior to testing
• Conduct tests using common and computerized data acquisition equipment and interpret/record results (X-Y recorders, oscilloscopes, transducers, flowmeters, vibe machines, vibe tables, ESS chambers)
• Troubleshoot failures revealed by test data and perform rework as needed
• Build and test experimental devices from engineering sketches or specifications and develop design details
• Maintain a FOD-free work area and observe all safety rules
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or GED
• Approximately 5 years of related experience and/or training
• Over three years' exposure to a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of engineering principles
• Ability to work with and set up 120–480V, 3-phase, 400Hz electrical test systems

• Air conditioning experience (desired)
• Machine shop knowledge (a plus)

Pay Range

$25.00 - $28.00/hour
