Position Overview:
As a Materials Management Technician at NEXT Industries, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and have access to the products they need for their industrial operations. You will play a crucial role in pulling and receiving inventory, delivery products to our customers and managing customer accounts by providing top-notch service and support. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a solid grasp of inventory management processes, and willingness to learn various vending equipment software platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse operations: Execute warehouse functions including product receiving, put away, picking, shipping, inventory control, housekeeping, etc.
- Delivery services: Execute scheduled and ad hoc replenishment deliveries to customers using NEXT Industries delivery vehicles while maintaining a safe driving record.
- Inventory Control: Conduct inventory control processes at NEXT Industries and customer locations to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Product knowledge: Develop in-depth understanding of products supplied to customers to be able to answer customer questions and specify product solutions.
- Software Proficiency: Use various vending equipment and binfill software platforms to manage programs effectively, as well as NEXT Industries’ ERP and WMS software.
- Vending hardware troubleshooting and maintenance: Understand how to troubleshoot vending equipment issues and maintain the equipment to ensure optimal equipment operability. Assist with vending setups, data collection and pricing updates.
- Follow all State and Federal DOT standards: to include driver’s road test, obtaining a Medical DOT certificate and MVR, keeping a daily Driver’s Time Record and doing regular vehicle inspections pre and post-delivery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of insurance.
- 1-2 years warehouse/driving experience, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliable, organized, detailed and focused.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and learning aptitude for various vending equipment software platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and technologies.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
