Outside Sales Representative

NEXT Industries is looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Rep/Account Manager in the Northern Michigan area.

We’re looking for an experienced, high-energy sales professional with a strong background in industrial distribution and a solid understanding of cutting tools and industrial supply. This individual will be responsible for building long-term relationships with both existing and prospective customers, providing technical solutions, and driving revenue growth in their territory.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage and grow an established territory, servicing both existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.

-Develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.

-Provide customers with product knowledge, particularly in cutting tools, machining, and related industrial supplies.

-Conduct on-site visits to customer facilities to assess needs and offer tailored solutions.

-Collaborate with internal teams including quoting, pricing, and customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

-Maintain accurate records, including sales activity, customer interactions, and forecasts.

-Attend industry trade shows, training sessions, and vendor meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

-3 years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial supply distribution to include MRO and cutting tools.

-Strong technical knowledge of cutting tools or related manufacturing processes.

-Proven ability to manage a territory, grow accounts, and achieve sales targets.

-Self-motivated, with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
