Position Summary
Next Industries is seeking a motivated Accounting Supervisor to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial analysis, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections
- Train, direct, and manage Accounting Department staff
- Prepare and analyze financial data, reports, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Utilize ERP systems to process transactions and extract financial data
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Implement process improvements
- Support audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with sales and employment tax reporting while assuring compliance
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or in a related field
- 2–4 years of professional accounting and supervisory experience
- Technical Accounting: Account reconciliation, chart of accounts coding, journal entries, credit card accounting processes, inventory value, payables, and receivables
- Excel and other MS Office skills
- ERP systems, preferably Epicor Prophet 21
- Secondary systems, mainly automated payables and expense report systems
- Internal controls
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

- Manage multiple priorities
