Location: Needham, MA — Day 1 Onsite

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Core Tech Lead to own the technical direction of the Salesforce Core platform, covering Service Cloud, Salesforce Order Management (OMS), Experience Cloud, and the shared data model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own Salesforce Core architecture, including data model, security, automation, integrations, and governor limits
• Lead end-to-end Service Cloud and OMS solutions
• Review and approve Apex, LWC, Flow, and metadata changes
• Establish development, testing, documentation, and coding standards
• Own Salesforce release management, CI/CD, SFDX/sf CLI, Git, and deployment processes
• Lead production incident RCA and drive resolution
• Ensure SOX-compliant change management and audit processes
• Mentor and lead two mid-level Salesforce engineers
• Collaborate with Commerce Cloud, QA, DevOps, Product, CX, and Operations teams
Required Skills:
• 7 years of Salesforce development experience
• 2 years in a Lead or Architect capacity
• Strong Service Cloud experience, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Knowledge, Entitlements, Milestones, CTI, and Experience Cloud
• Expert-level Apex, LWC, and Flow skills
• Strong REST/SOAP, Platform Events, CDC, and middleware integration experience
• Experience with Git, SFDX/sf CLI, CI/CD, sandboxes or scratch orgs
• Strong code review, technical leadership, and mentoring experience
Preferred:
• Salesforce OMS experience across order lifecycle, fulfillment, returns, and payments
• Salesforce Platform Developer II and Service Cloud Consultant certifications
• Application or System Architect track experience
• Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Core data flows
• SOX-regulated environment experience
• Retail, consumer products, or DTC ecommerce experience
• Exposure to Agentforce or AI-assisted service tools
