Shipping & Packaging Technician | Logan, UT

Nexeo Staffing is seeking a Shipping & Packaging Technician for an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturer of world-class amusement rides and attractions. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating the shipment of ride components and assemblies while ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings and work independently. Responsibilities

• Assemble and package amusement ride vehicles, components, and parts for shipment.
• Verify all parts and assemblies are complete and properly prepared for safe delivery.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and job specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to assist with assembly and packaging processes.
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with company procedures and ASTM standards.
• Assist with shipping preparation and organization of completed orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and moving materials throughout the shift.
• Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, tape measures, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Positive attendance history and strong work ethic.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred.
• Vocational or technical training is a plus. 
  • Preferred: Forklift certification and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
