Responsibilities

• Set up and operate band saws, circular saws, miter saws, and other cutting equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and cutting specifications.
• Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Measure and mark materials using tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade changes and lubrication.
• Ensure all cuts meet quality control standards and precise tolerances.
• Handle materials safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations to promote a secure work environment.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in a fabrication, manufacturing, or construction setting.
• Skills: Familiarity with various saws and cutting techniques.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Material Knowledge: Understanding of metals, woods, and plastics and their cutting methods.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor saw maintenance.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• High school diploma or GED (Technical certification in manufacturing, welding, or machining is a plus!)
• OSHA or other safety certifications are highly recommended.

Pay
 $19.00 per hour

Schedule
 Full Time | Day Shift | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Monday–Friday
