Human Resources Generalist | Lehi, UT
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and improving internal HR processes while providing support for Nexeo Staffing associates. This role collaborates with other members of the HR team to develop employee programs, staff internal positions, improve processes, and organize company events. Success in this position requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple HR initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Contact and interview applicants for internal positions, identifying both positional and cultural fit
- Onboard all internal hires, including sending offer letters, verifying new hire documentation, and conducting New Hire Orientation
- Schedule and conduct exit interviews for internal employees who have submitted their resignation
- Schedule and provide onboarding for external employees, including collecting required legal documentation and providing training when needed
Employee Support & HR Administration
- Assist the HR team in tracking and managing work-related injuries
- Support Nexeo Staffing associates through various HR-related functions and initiatives
- Assist the HR department with internal and external projects, including organizational needs and employee relations matters
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Create and implement standard HR procedures and processes to increase company efficiency and profitability
- Collaborate with other members of the HR team to develop employee programs and improve existing processes
- Assist with planning and organizing Nexeo events
- Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS systems
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Schedule
Full Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Work Environment
This position is in-office and operates in a professional office environment with no specialized physical demand.
