Forklift Operator | Las Vegas, NV
Nexeo Staffing is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate for a busy distribution facility in North Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable company that offers room for growth and advancement for motivated team members. The selected candidate will initially train alongside a current team member to ensure a smooth transition into the role and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and walkie riders (electric pallet jacks)
- Load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift
- Perform replenishment and put-away functions by placing inbound product into pallet racking
- Pick orders using RF scanner equipment
- Assist with general warehouse duties when forklift operation is not required
- Pack, palletize, and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Work efficiently as part of a team while staying focused on assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of recent forklift experience
- Previous forklift certification preferred
- Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts strongly preferred
- Stable work history
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Team-oriented with the ability to stay on task in a busy warehouse
- Willingness to ask questions and learn
- Reliable transportation required
- Preferred: Previous lead or supervisory experience
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
