Quality Assurance Inspector | La Verkin, UT
Nexeo Staffing is actively seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join a high-precision manufacturing environment in the St. George/La Verkin area. This role is critical in ensuring that machined parts meet strict quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) on parts produced during machine setup
- Conduct final inspections on completed products prior to shipment
- Complete dimensional and visual inspections to verify compliance with specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Utilize inspection equipment such as:
- Micrometers, calipers, height gauges
- Optical comparator, Keyence systems
- Thread gauges, gauge pins, concentricity gauges
- Inspect products on the production floor as required
- Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming products
- Perform rework and sorting activities to bring parts into compliance
- Complete AS9102 and customer-required documentation
- Maintain records and databases of quality inspections and defect tracking
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred:
- 1–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI)
- GD&T interpretation
- AS9102 documentation experience
- Experience with precision measurement tools
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality assurance processes
- Experience with visual and dimensional inspection
- Knowledge of ISO or aerospace quality standards (a plus)
- Preferred:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production floor environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive inspections
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally
Pay
$17.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
