Production Operator | Logan, UT
Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Production Operator to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll operate and monitor equipment, maintain quality standards, and help keep production running efficiently. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Identify and address routine operational issues and upset conditions.
- Perform equipment changeovers, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and participate in sanitation audits.
- Track and record production data, including waste, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
- Support shipping, receiving, staging, and material replenishment activities.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate updates across shifts.
- Assist in planning production activities to maximize efficiency.
- Fill in for team members during breaks or absences.
- Participate in training programs and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist other departments and support staff as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of production equipment.
- Basic math skills, including familiarity with statistical process control.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing production environment.
Pay
$24.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:15 AM–4:30 PM
