Concrete Finisher | Brigham City, UT
Are you an experienced concrete professional looking for steady, year-round work with competitive pay? We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join a growing construction team working on commercial and civil projects throughout Cache Valley and the Salt Lake City area. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with strong finishing experience who take pride in producing high-quality concrete work while maintaining a safe and efficient job site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, frame, and level concrete forms to required specifications.
- Set and align forms to ensure proper pitch, depth, and structure.
- Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools.
- Operate power screeds, trowels, floats, and vibrators.
- Monitor weather and curing conditions to ensure quality results.
- Create finished surfaces, edges, joints, and broom finishes as specified.
- Direct concrete truck placement and assist with concrete pours.
- Apply curing, sealing, waterproofing, and restoration products.
- Repair damaged concrete by patching, grinding, and reinforcing surfaces.
- Assist with subgrade preparation, form setting, and concrete placement.
- Perform general labor and site cleanup as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures.
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of concrete finishing experience required.
- Proficient in concrete preparation, placement, finishing, and repair.
- Ability to read and follow project specifications and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours when needed.
Pay
$25.00-$32.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday – Friday | 7 AM - 5 PM
