Mold Maintenance Technician | West Jordan, UT

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing injection molds to ensure reliable production, high-quality output, and minimal downtime. You will work alongside production and technical teams to troubleshoot mold-related issues, support mold changeovers, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance mold performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on injection molds.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble molds as needed.
• Identify and replace worn or damaged mold components.
• Assist with mold changeovers and insert changes to support production.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Troubleshoot mold-related issues with production and technical teams.
• Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards while maintaining an organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance mold performance and reliability.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
• 2 years of mold maintenance experience within an injection molding environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mold components and functions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement principles such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and PDCA.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Pay
$24.00 Per Hour
Schedule
2:00pm – 10:30pm OR 10:30pm – 6:30am
