This dual-role position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting while supporting essential administrative and payroll functions. As a Recruiter/Recruiting Assistant, you’ll play a key role in the recruitment lifecycle by filling client orders with quality candidates and ensuring a smooth onboarding and job site transition.

This role requires a proactive, enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Initiate recruiting and sourcing efforts by engaging candidate leads daily via phone and text to build a strong talent pipeline
• Review resumes, conduct pre-screen and second interviews, and assist candidates with resume creation as needed
• Process employee applications and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately (Application, I-9, W-4, Direct Deposit, Health Benefits, and Client Onboarding Documents)
• Coordinate and schedule client and candidate interviews, providing interview coaching when needed
• Write candidate submittal paragraphs highlighting qualifications identified during interviews
• Extend job offers and assist with employment negotiations when necessary
• Complete required pre-employment steps, including background checks, drug testing, reference checks, and certifications
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to run reports, update records, and complete onboarding
• Use recruiting tools such as job boards, text messaging platforms, and sourcing software
• Handle administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones, outbound calls, and data entry
• Support payroll collection, reconciliation, and distribution of hours
• Assist associates with daily needs and interact professionally with clients, applicants, and employees
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting experience (staffing agency or in-house preferred) or strong customer service/administrative experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to support conflict resolution
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with strong multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Outlook) and familiarity with ATS platforms and job boards
• Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
• Ability to assess candidate qualifications and make informed hiring recommendations
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Pay

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE commissions and bonus opportunities
