Nexeo HR is seeking experienced MIG Production Welders for the manufacturing of steel trailers. This role involves performing repetitive MIG welding on steel components, adhering to blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess the skills necessary for a high-production welding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel trailers, ensuring high-quality work and consistency
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete welding tasks accurately and efficiently
• Work with a variety of trailer types, including four primary models and their variations
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as part of the production process
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols in a shop environment with limited ventilation, especially during the winter months

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG production welding, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure precise welding tasks
• Must provide own welding gear, including a welding hood, gloves, scraper, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day
• Proficiency in English to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with team members
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with strong odors due to limited ventilation, especially in winter months

Pay

 $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Day Shift | Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday | 6:00am – 4:30pm | (4–10’s)
