Material Associate | Logan, UT
Nexeo Staffing is seeking dependable and safety-minded Material Associates to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will ensure production teams have the materials and components needed to meet daily goals by transporting, organizing, and tracking inventory throughout the facility. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and contributing to the success of production operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver parts, materials, and supplies to production areas throughout the facility.
- Follow designated material delivery routes to support production schedules.
- Safely operate forklifts, tuggers, and other material-handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, trays, conveyors, and production equipment.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts as needed.
- Track, document, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure production areas remain supplied with necessary materials.
- Organize and maintain material storage locations.
- Collaborate with production teams and other departments to support operational goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
- Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
- Must meet ATF requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 30 lbs. and occasionally push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Pay
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule
Day Shift: 5:45 AM - 2:00 PM
Swing Shift: 1:45 PM - 10:00 PM
Graveyard Shift: 9:45 PM - 6:00 AM
Overtime available as needed
