Facility Maintenance Technician | Logan, UT
Nexeo HR is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician in Logan, UT with a well-established manufacturing company. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in facility maintenance, construction trades, or mechanical systems. You’ll play a key role in keeping facility operations running safely and efficiently while supporting production teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, gas, and piping systems
- Construct and maintain ductwork, sheet metal fixtures, and machine guards
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment including air handlers, compressors, and pumps
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems using energy management systems
- Complete carpentry work including drywall repair and general construction tasks
- Identify and repair roof damage, leaks, and structural issues
- Install and maintain telephone and computer wiring
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to complete projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety regulations
- Assist with snow removal and general facility upkeep
- Order and track replacement parts as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a related trade
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights (ladders/scaffolding)
- Ability to work in varying environments, including outdoor conditions
Pay
$18.87 – $23.56 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Day Shift | Mon–Fri 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
