E-Commerce Claims Processor | Salt Lake City, UT
Nexeo Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Processor / Refund Specialist to join a small, collaborative team supporting a high-volume e-commerce operation. This role will focus on processing returns and refunds for online orders and ensuring accuracy across all transactions.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and handling fast-paced workloads. Accounting students or individuals with strong Excel skills are encouraged to apply.
Training is provided (1–2 weeks). Candidates must be comfortable working in secure systems and switching between multiple platforms. This role is ideal for individuals with data entry, accounting, or operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Process returns and refunds for online and e-commerce orders.
- Review and verify returned items against original orders.
- Investigate discrepancies and use critical thinking to resolve issues.
- Accurately enter and maintain account and transaction data.
- Scan and manage internal documentation.
- Work across multiple systems to ensure secure and accurate processing.
- Assist with a high-volume backlog of credits and refunds.
- Collaborate with a small team to meet daily processing goals.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with Excel or Smartsheet preferred.
- Preferred: Accounting, data entry, or operations experience.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and follow security protocols.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Comfortable handling sensitive information.
- Fluent in English; bilingual candidates are welcome to apply.
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
