The Production Supervisor for the Builds Department is responsible for the strategic oversight and daily management of infrastructure deployment workstreams, ensuring physical computer server rack builds—from rack population to final cabling—are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with global quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, professional communication skills, and solid computer proficiency. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily data center build operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and strict SLOs/SLAs
• Prioritize task flow, assign personnel, and allocate equipment based on project needs
• Optimize workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing lean methodologies to improve throughput and reduce “Time to Ready”
• Serve as final escalation point for build quality, verifying rack population, cabling, hardware placement, and accuracy before handoff
• Supervise server rack assembly, cabling, and hardware installation per diagrams, schematics, and SOPs
• Ensure precise rack placement using laser measurement tools and documented procedures
• Conduct quality inspections for inbound and outbound materials, validating quantities, part numbers, and condition
• Monitor material movements, returns, and documentation using inventory systems and digital tools
• Provide hands-on leadership by assigning work, guiding technicians, and monitoring daily performance
• Train, mentor, and coach technicians on installation techniques, documentation, hardware platforms, and equipment handling
• Track team KPIs including build accuracy, productivity throughput, and deployment speed; provide feedback and support performance reviews
• Enforce strict data center safety procedures, PPE requirements, and physical security policies
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners including Material Planning, Site Operations, and Logistics
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports using Excel, Word, and internal systems
• Resolve technical, logistical, and personnel issues quickly to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with 5S and data center standards
• Perform other data center duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift

Qualifications

• 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in data center builds, electronics manufacturing, production, logistics, or similar environments
• Experience managing large teams and meeting SLA-driven operational goals
• Strong computer proficiency, including Excel and Word, with the ability to learn technical tools and inventory systems
• Hands-on experience with server rack builds, cabling, hardware installation, or technical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Experience with workflow optimization, process improvement, or lean methodologies preferred
• Familiarity with quality assurance, inventory control, and documentation accuracy
• Professional demeanor with strong client-facing communication skills
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail with strong multitasking skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work on the data center floor
• Reliable transportation (near USA Parkway)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass a 10-year national background check and pre-employment drug screening

Pay

$35.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (Day Shift)

Must be willing to work overtime as needed
