Nexeo Staffing has partnered with a reputable, industry-leading company in the Ogden area to hire a skilled CNC Machinist for their Machine Build Team. This is an exciting, hands-on role for machinists who enjoy building production equipment from the ground up, working from detailed blueprints, and operating both manual and CNC machines. Responsibilities

•    Set up and take down machining projects according to specifications

•    Operate manual and CNC machines safely and efficiently

•    Use shop tools and equipment, including safe operation of overhead cranes

•    Read and interpret blueprints to machine production equipment components

•    Maintain precise tolerances and ensure high-quality machining results

•    Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

•    Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

•    Collaborate with the Machine Build Team on production equipment projects

Qualifications

•    Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints

•    Skilled in operating manual and CNC machines within a machine-shop environment

•    Ability to hold tight tolerances with precision machining

•    Experience using various shop tools, including overhead cranes

•    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for long periods

•    One year of technical schooling in an advanced machine shop and three years of hands-on machining experience

•    Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols

•    Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed

•    Must be able to pass a national background check and drug screen

Pay

$20.00–$30.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–4:30pm
