Batching Technician | Springville, UT
Nexeo is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Batching Technician to join our production team on the Day Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and combining raw materials according to approved formulas and batch records. The ideal candidate has previous batching experience, forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Read and follow batch records, formulas, and work instructions accurately.
• Weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials using scales and measuring equipment.
• Mix and blend materials according to established specifications and procedures.
• Document batch information, lot numbers, and quantities accurately and legibly.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, stage, and transport raw materials and finished products.
• Inspect materials and equipment for quality or safety concerns and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company SOPs, GMP requirements, and safety procedures, including proper PPE use.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and shift updates.
• Work overtime as needed to support production demands.
Qualifications
• Previous batching or mixing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Pay
$17.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
