SCHOOL: Newtown High School, Sandy Hook, CT 06482
STARTING DATE: August 24, 2026
REMUNERATION: as per Teachers’ Contract
Qualifications: • Must hold CT Teaching Certificate in Social Studies
- Ability to work with students from remedial level through
- Have high motivation and task orientation
- Have superior instructional skills.
- Ability to use alternate means of assessment for students
Responsibilities: • Carry out teaching assignments
- To consult with teachers, administrators, staff and parents
- To carry out all facets of the teacher job description
