Position Summary
The Lead Disability Coordinator oversees mentorship services for youth who need additional support with behavior, daily routines, emotional regulation, and independence.
This role focuses on:
- Coordinating support services
- Guiding mentors
- Ensuring youth receive consistent, structured care
This is a leadership hands-on role that combines direct mentorship, team supervision, and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Disability Mentors & In-Home Mentors
- Coordinate schedules for in-home and school-based services
- Assist with creating individual support plans (goal-based, non-clinical language)
- Provide hands-on mentorship support when needed
- Monitor student progress and provide updates to families
- Ensure quality of services across all assigned cases
- Assist with onboarding and training new staff
- Support behavior and life-skill development using positive, structured approaches
- Maintain documentation for attendance, progress, and services

Pay Structure
- Base Pay: $22–$26/hour (based on experience)
- On-Call Rate: $2.50 above base hourly rate
- Mileage Reimbursement: $1.00/mile (when traveling between clients)
- Growth Opportunities: Pay increases tied to program expansion & leadership performance
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred:
- Experience working with children (mentoring, childcare, education, support roles)
- Background in:
- Psychology
- Education
- Social Work

- Strongly Preferred:
- Experience supporting youth with:
- Behavioral challenges
- Developmental delays

Job Type
- Part-Time: 20–25 hours/week
