This member is a female in her early 70s who has experienced a prior stroke, resulting in limited use of her left side. She requires assistance with mobility and may need help walking or transferring safely around the home. Due to her medical history, she may also need support with daily tasks that require strength or coordination. The member lives with her daughter, son, and grandson, so communication and coordination with family members will be important. She is a smoker, so caregivers must be comfortable working in a smoking environment. There are no pets in the home. The ideal caregiver will be patient, compassionate, and experienced in working with individuals who have mobility limitations. A background in stroke recovery support or similar care is a plus.
