Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist a female member who requires support with daily activities. The member has arthritis and glaucoma, which may impact mobility and vision. Assistance with walking, household tasks, and personal care is needed. The member also has sleep apnea and high blood pressure, so ensuring a safe and comfortable environment is essential.

The member lives with her daughter and has pets in the home. Applicants should be comfortable around animals. The member is a non-smoker.

We are looking for a caregiver who lives within a 30-minute drive.

Required Duties

As part of the Texas Star Plus program, the caregiver will be responsible for:

• Assistance with walking and mobility
• Light housekeeping (sweeping, dusting, laundry, etc.)
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Medication reminders
• Shopping and errands (driving may be required)
• Companionship and emotional support
