The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. You install hardware, software, and participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with IT business needs. The Infrastructure Analyst will actively resolve issues with computer and server systems to limit the work disruption.
Essential Functions/ Job Duties
- Participate and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers
- Coordinate with network administration, business application, and database administration functions to implement and manage desktop and server systems, infrastructure, and processes which utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives
- Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy and security
- Practice network asset management
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements
- Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans
- Participates in IS Department on-call rotation for after-hours support
Skills and Abilities
- Associate degree required with Field of Study Information Technology
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification, Preferred
This is a FT exempt position M-F. This is not a remote position
