We are working with a growing independent insurance agency seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in the Florida market. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced commercial insurance professional who enjoys managing client relationships, handling renewals, and supporting long-term account retention in a collaborative agency environment.
The agency operates as a true generalist shop with a diverse middle-market commercial book, including a strong concentration of contractors, trades, and hospitality accounts. Leadership is making a proactive addition to the team ahead of anticipated producer growth, creating an opportunity for someone who wants stability, long-term growth, and a well-supported workload.
Some key responsibilities with this role:
- Serve as the primary service contact for a book of commercial lines clients, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the policy lifecycle
- Manage renewals, remarketing efforts, endorsements, policy changes, carrier communication, and day-to-day servicing for commercial accounts ranging from approximately $10K–$200K in premium
- Coordinate marketing submissions and renewal strategy with carrier partners to maintain competitive coverage solutions for clients
- Support retention initiatives by delivering proactive client service and maintaining strong account stewardship
- Work closely with producers and agency leadership to support continued agency growth and operational excellence
- Assist with cross-selling opportunities when appropriate, though the role is primarily service and renewal focused
- Maintain accurate documentation and workflow management within the agency management system and carrier platforms
