We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lawn Maintenance Foreman to lead our outdoor groundskeeping team in delivering exceptional landscape and lawn care services. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance workers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee lawn care, landscape maintenance, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation activities
- Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to guide proper care and landscape design decisions
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles safely and effectively
- Coordinate with project managers on construction projects to ensure timely completion of landscaping tasks
- Train crew members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices in horticulture and grounds management
Skills
- Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape work
- Proven supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and grounds maintenance techniques
- Skilled in irrigation management and troubleshooting irrigation systems
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and company vehicles responsibly
- Knowledge of construction projects related to outdoor environments
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate team members and coordinate tasks effectively
Pay: $25.81 - $31.08 per hour
