Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lawn Care Supervisor to lead our landscape maintenance team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring high-quality lawn and grounds maintenance services, supervising crew members, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead lawn maintenance crews on residential and/or commercial properties
- Schedule and coordinate daily routes, assignments, and equipment usage
- Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, fertilization, aeration, and seasonal cleanups
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to ensure performance standards are met
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards
- Communicate with clients regarding services, concerns, and special requests
- Maintain and inspect equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure safe operation
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with snow removal services (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and job completion
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance
- 1 year of supervisory or crew leader experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of turf care, plant identification, pruning techniques, and seasonal maintenance
- Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
