Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline front desk operations.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and billing information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Perform night audit duties as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and vendors
- Assist with guest relations to foster a positive experience during their stay
- Ensure front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and hotel software is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights if required
- Hospitality or resort experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns with tact and professionalism
