Hotel Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role is essential in providing an exceptional guest experience by creating a welcoming and spotless environment. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial services is preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality settings. Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care duties such as mopping and carpet cleaning to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Sanitize bathrooms and fixtures to meet health standards
• Ensure public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms are tidy and presentable
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols at all times
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable
• Experience with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing is a plus
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service skills are beneficial
• Previous housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
