Job Title: MEC CL10 Auto-Looper Technician
Position Summary
The MEC CL10 Looper Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MEC CL10 looping equipment used in automated extension spring manufacturing processes. This role ensures optimal machine performance, product quality, and production efficiency while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various MEC CL10 looper machines according to production specifications and schedules
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure consistent product quality
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on looper equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime
- Ensure proper processing, tension control, and head alignment through the looping system
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet output and quality targets
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
- 2 years of experience operating or maintaining MEC Auto-looping machinery (looping or similar equipment preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude, toolmaking, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
