The Spring-Up Technician helps build the backbone of our furniture. In this hands-on role, you’ll install springs and webbing on furniture frames to make sure every piece is strong, comfortable, and built right before it moves to upholstery. What You Do
- Installs springs, webbing, and related support materials onto furniture frames according to specifications and production standards.
- Assists with building and preparing furniture frames for upholstery.
- Stretches, secures, and aligns webbing to ensure proper support and durability.
- Uses hand tools, pneumatic tools, and staple guns safely and effectively.
- Inspects frames, springs, and webbing for quality, alignment, and workmanship.
- Makes adjustments or repairs to ensure frames meet quality expectations.
- Follows production schedules to meet daily output goals.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complies with all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Works collaboratively with team members to support overall production flow.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years’ experience in furniture spring-up or frame assembly required.
- Basic understanding of furniture frame construction and support systems
- Ability to use basic hand and pneumatic tools
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
