Job Title: Shinko Setup TechnicianJob Summary
The Shinko Setup Technician is responsible for the setup, calibration, operation, and troubleshooting of Shinko equipment used in production processes (820 and TF 23 Machines). This role ensures machines are properly configured to meet production specifications, quality standards, and efficiency targets. The technician works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support smooth and continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and configure Shinko machines according to job specifications and production schedules
- Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments, and fine-tuning to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor machine operation to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues in a timely manner
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Ensure proper documentation of setup parameters, production runs, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures
- Assist in training operators on proper machine use and setup procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in machine setup or manufacturing environment (experience with Shinko equipment preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
