Newco Services provides refrigerated merchandising and logistics management and consulting services throughout the United States and Canada. We are seeking a Subcontractor Procurement Specialist. This is a full-time position and allows the option to work from our Boynton Beach corporate headquarters and/or work Remotely. The Subcontractor Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating with and managing commercial refrigeration subcontractors. Daily tasks include evaluating vendor performance, ensuring timely completion of work orders, evaluating negotiating and approving subcontractor quotes. maintaining updated subcontractor records and coordinating with internal teams to meet client requirements and expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in managing supplier or subcontractor relationships
- Organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Knowledge of refrigeration and refrigeration parts a plus.
- 5-year work experience in a professional environment
- Proficient on a keyboard and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- A team player, provide support to other positions/operations during heavy workloads or absences
