The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems critical to the production of commercial brewing equipment. This is a hands-on role that supports operational efficiency and equipment reliability in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including welding systems, laser/turret machines, brake press machines, hydraulic equipment, and pneumatic tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Inspect equipment, identify worn or defective parts, and replace components as needed.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
- Assist in maintaining facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical certification or Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with food-grade manufacturing equipment a plus.
- Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.
- PLC troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge a plus.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety practices.
