Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
- Utilize ERP systems to monitor production progress, update planning data, and ensure accurate tracking of materials and work-in-progress.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize procurement, inventory management, and logistics for uninterrupted production flow.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.
- Oversee plant operations by managing resources, scheduling maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to troubleshoot issues, improve process workflows, and enhance product quality.
- Generate reports on production performance metrics, supply chain analytics, and operational KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead initiatives in process improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, increasing throughput, and enhancing overall plant efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems planning software.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), lean manufacturing methodologies, and supply chain management principles.
- Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in supply chain analytics and operations management.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
