We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineering Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a hospital-based BioMed team. This is a 100% onsite leadership role responsible for supervising approximately 15 biomedical equipment technicians and support personnel, ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, safety, and regulatory compliance of medical equipment across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational management experience, a customer-service mindset, and a proven ability to lead high-performing BioMed teams in a complex healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or a related field.
5 years of biomedical equipment management, healthcare technology management (HTM), or clinical engineering experience.
2 years of supervisory, team leadership, or management experience within a BioMed or clinical engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience leading day-to-day operations in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support for a team of approximately 15 biomedical engineering professionals.
Manage daily work assignments, staffing schedules, priorities, and workload distribution.
Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and lifecycle management of medical equipment.
Ensure timely resolution of equipment issues to minimize clinical downtime and support patient care operations.
Monitor team performance and establish productivity, quality, and service standards.
Partner with clinical departments to address equipment needs and service concerns.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, FDA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and third-party repair providers.
Assist with budgeting, capital equipment planning, and inventory management.
Support equipment acquisition, installation, testing, and deployment initiatives.
Develop and maintain departmental metrics, reporting, and performance dashboards.
Lead personnel activities including hiring, onboarding, coaching, training, performance evaluations, and employee development.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Participate in regulatory audits, accreditation surveys, and operational readiness activities.
