This role supports the content acquisition team by researching contract terms, analyzing sales data, and assisting with dealmaking activities. You’ll work closely with internal teams including deal operations and legal, as well as external partners such as publishers, agents, and authors. Responsibilities
- Generate sales and performance reports using business intelligence tools
- Research and compile contract terms by reviewing agreements, amendments, and internal databases
- Partner with legal teams to support drafting and updating contract amendments
- Provide operational support to the content acquisition team
- Enter, update, and maintain records in Salesforce and other internal systems
- Process payee changes, content terminations, and related updates
- Support and negotiate license renewals
- Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to support ongoing workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in publishing or rights licensing
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Salesforce, Airtable, and similar tools
- Experience working with large datasets and managing high volumes of information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business judgment and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
