What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Technician position at New York State Unified Court System?
Under the direction of the Statewide LAN Manager, the candidates will support a wide array of statewide technical and security initiatives in accordance with the Division of Technology and Court Research’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, user account management, application packaging, operating system deployment, and managing security vulnerability patching. Candidates should possess specific knowledge and experience with Group Policy, Active Directory, Entra ID, Hyper-V, NetApp enterprise storage, Windows Server operating systems, Intune, Configuration Manager (SCCM), PowerShell scripting and automation.
Qualifications:
Network System Technician III Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of related technical experience in a help desk or technical environment; or An equivalent combination of education and related technical experience in a help desk or technical environment. Salary: $76,112 $4,920 location pay
Network System Technician II - Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of related technical experience in a help desk or technical environment; or An equivalent combination of education and related technical experience in a help desk or technical environment. Salary: $64,971 $4,920 location pay
This position is eligible for one day of telecommuting per week. The Unified Court System does not participate in e-verify, therefore we are not able to accept candidates on F-1 or OPT Visa's.
