Office Administrator for New York State Senate Republican Senator

Associate’s degree required.
Primary Purpose:
A New York State Republican Senator is seeking a part-time, Albany-based Office Administrator. The Office Administrator will manage visitors, answer the telephone, and respond to requests for general information and other inquiries. This position also monitors delivery and pickup of materials, maintains the office, and assists with various administrative and legislative service duties while the Senator is in Albany.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as the initial point of contact for callers and visitors
- Directs phone calls and correspondence to appropriate staff
- Assists office staff with administrative and legislative duties as necessary
- Manages office inventory and distributes supplies as needed.
Additional Comments:
Compensation range: $15,000 - $16,000 (will be determined by educational and relevant work experience).
