The Office Assistant 2 will serve in the Bureau of Early Intervention Information Systems and Quality Improvement unit and will be responsible for supporting the needs of the program, which services infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. Such work may consist of,but is not limited to data entry into the Bureau's data system, keyboarding and other document preparation tasks, answering telephones, completing forms, assisting stakeholders, and other related activities. The OA2 should have proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
NY HELPS: One year of clerical experience where most work time is spent performing keyboarding, data entry, chart compilation or arrangement, or various tasks involving typing into computerized systems.
Transfer Opportunity: Current New York State (NYS) Department of Health (DOH) employee with permanent or contingent permanent service as an Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding), Grade 9 OR NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent permanent service in a title at or above a G-7 and eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in data systems. Experience working in tracking systems. Experience with ticketing systems.
