Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapist based in New York, NY. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and functionality. Other responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams, educating patients and their families on exercise routines and home care strategies, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Patient Care
- Proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal impairments
- Knowledge of Medicine as it relates to physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Ability to design and guide Home Care programs for patient recovery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
- Prior experience in outpatient or musculoskeletal settings is a plus
