About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Inventory Planner to manage the flow of product from PO creation through receipt, allocation, and sell-through. You'll sit at the intersection of buying, merchandising, finance, and operations, translating business goals into smart inventory decisions that keep us stocked. This is a high-impact role on a team that moves fast and expects precision.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain seasonal inventory plans aligned with sales targets, OTB budgets, and brand strategy
- Monitor sell-through, inventory turn, and weeks of supply, translating data into timely action on replenishment, markdowns, and future buy decisions
- Partner with buying and merchandising to manage purchase orders across all categories, start to finish
- Maintain assortment and size run integrity across DTC, wholesale, and retail channels
- Collaborate with operations and logistics on inbound flow and warehouse capacity planning
- Own inventory reporting end to end, from weekly and monthly updates for leadership to seasonal recaps that surface performance insights and inform the next buy
- Manage carryover and excess inventory strategies, including identifying candidates for off-price, archive, or consolidation
- Support new product launches by coordinating inventory readiness across channels and ensuring on-time availability
Qualifications
- 5 years of inventory or merchandise planning experience, apparel industry strongly preferred
- Fluency in retail math; sell-through, OTB, turn, weeks of supply
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with planning tools is a plus
- Experience planning across DTC, wholesale, and retail channels with an understanding of how inventory strategy shifts between them
- Familiarity with apparel production calendars and the ability to plan around long lead times and seasonal deadlines
- Self-directed and collaborative, you build structure where it doesn't exist, communicate proactively, and bring solutions not just problems
