Manager, Demand and Inventory Planning

Tula is hiring a Manager, Demand & Inventory Planning to join our Operations Team! This role oversees inventory control processes, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing costs. The role involves strategy development, forecasting, supplier coordination, internal and external collaboration/coordination and product performance analysis.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting across key retail accounts (Ulta, Target), ensuring alignment with financial targets and supply chain capabilities
• Build monthly Production Planning process files in partnership with Supply planning team
• Lead new product innovation forecasting in partnership with Brand and Finance, integrating launches into S&OP/SIOP processes
• Facilitate and lead cross-functional planning forums, including Kitting and Finished Goods Weeks of Coverage (WOC) meetings, to align on inventory strategy and execution
• Drive the bi-annual SKU rationalization process, partnering across Sales, Brand, Finance, and Operations to optimize assortment and reduce complexity
• Maintain and enhance core planning tools and processes, including KPI tracking, production planning models, and SIOP deck updates
• Review, analyze, and approve retailer purchase orders, ensuring alignment with forecasts, inventory strategies, and operational constraints
• Develop forecasts for new accounts, partnering cross-functionally to support successful onboarding and scalable growth
• Support Amazon and Walmart operations through ongoing coordination with supply chain and operations teams
• Lead inventory wind-down strategies for exiting accounts, minimizing excess and financial risk from RTVs
• Partner closely with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to reduce costs, mitigate RTVs, and drive low- to no-waste inventory management
• Manages multi-node warehouse transfers & inventory rebalancing between Amazon, Stord, additional Stord nodes

TOP CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field;
• 5 Years Experience in inventory management, demand planning, supply chain operations, or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; advanced excel capabilities and proficient in Netsuite ERP system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, organization and attention to detail
• Ability to develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business goals.
