Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling infrastructure, and executing the organization’s growth strategy across clinical and administrative functions.
This is a high-impact executive leadership role focused on building scalable systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring exceptional patient-centered care across all locations.
Enterprise Operations
- Full operational oversight across all clinic locations, including infusion services, nursing, advanced practice providers, and practice operations
- Standardization of workflows, policies, and performance expectations across sites
- Continuous improvement in access, throughput, efficiency, and patient experience
- Execution of organizational growth strategy in partnership with the CEO
- Leadership of new site development, clinic expansion, relocations, and consolidations
- Development of scalable operational infrastructure to support increasing patient volume
- Partnership with physician and clinical leadership to support high-quality care delivery
- Oversight of provider operations including onboarding, scheduling, productivity, and retention
- Development of staffing models to ensure appropriate coverage and capacity across all sites
- Oversight of operational budgets in collaboration with Finance leadership
- Development and monitoring of KPIs related to access, productivity, utilization, and growth
- Identification of opportunities to improve efficiency and resource utilization
- Ensure operational compliance with applicable regulatory, payer, and clinical standards
- Support readiness for audits, surveys, and accreditation processes
- Partner with compliance and quality teams to proactively manage operational risk
- Build and lead a high-performing operational leadership team
- Establish governance structures and accountability frameworks
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Maintain strong on-site leadership presence across all locations
- Partner with IT and clinical teams to optimize EHR and operational systems
- Leverage data and reporting tools to drive performance and decision-making
- Support implementation of technology solutions that improve efficiency and access
- 10 years of progressive healthcare operational leadership experience
- Experience in physician practice or specialty care environments
- Multi-site healthcare leadership experience
- Strong understanding of oncology or hematology operations preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field)
- Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MHSA, or equivalent)
- Experience in oncology or hematology practice leadership
- Background in organizational growth, expansion, or new site development
- Experience in physician-led or matrixed healthcare organizations
Salary : $225,000 - $250,000
