• Perform Preventative Maintenance for Press Brake
• Proper set up of Press Brake machine
• Accurate interpretation of blueprints and customer specifications
• Insure that quality inspection criteria are being followed for all parts run or bent
• Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
• Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
• Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of previous press brake-related experience

The anticipated wage scale for candidates who work in Springfield, MO is $19.00 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. New York Air Brake is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation leave. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays, and 2 personal holidays throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies.
