What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Assistant position at New Song School of the Arts?
This position is crucial to the first impression of our clients. Eye contact and interest must be displayed in order to make all who enter feel welcome and cared for.
This position calls for a mature and friendly personality that is comfortable engaging with those who enter our doors. A spirit of unity and deference to others is important in order to present a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere that carries to all other areas of the studio. The goal is to make each child feel important and connected from the moment they walk in the door and to make each parent/guardian comfortable that their child is safe and special to us.
Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Report to Client Experience Manager
- Answer phone calls and emails from customers - directing them accordingly
- Report office progress to senior management and work with them to improve office operations and procedures
- Support staff and faculty on a daily basis
- Monitor office supplies and ordering new equipment, instruments, furniture, and electronics as required with approval of senior management
- Tour prospective parents and students while sharing the mission and vision of NSSOTA
- Enroll new students and withdraw former students on a daily/weekly basis
- Oversee student scheduling to include new student lessons and makeups
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shifts
- Monday through Friday
